Rodney Morgan from Hutchies’ Toowoomba office fundraised recently for the Toowoomba Hospice and reached a total of $10,000. Subcontractors made a major contribution which was matched by Hutchies. Rodney, a plastering foreman, said he wanted to create a legacy for his mother who spent her final days at the hospice which is a volunteer organisation. “I want to ensure someone else’s last weeks, days and minutes are spent like my Mum’s were – comfortable and at peace,” said Rodney.
