Hutchies is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Advisor for a project in Bundaberg, with the possibility of transitioning into a second concurrent project.

We are seeking a candidate with leadership skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. While it would be ideal for the candidate to reside in the Bundaberg region, we are open to other options.

#Responsibilities

As a HSE Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implement Hutchies' Health, Safety, Environment and Quality System on each of our projects
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders, such as subcontractors, to continually improve HSEQ outcomes on projects
  • Monitor legislative change and implement any local legislative change requirements
  • Prepare incident reports, undertake incident investigations, liaise with affected parties and the regulator as necessary
  • Provide HSEQ advice to other members of our team, including Site Managers and Project Managers, and Subcontractors, as appropriate
  • Prepare, implement, monitor, and update project specific management plans based on Hutchies’ Management System
  • Complete inspections, audits, and reviews in line with the HSEQ Management System Management Plans

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Must have 5+ years recent experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of Certificate IV – Workplace Health and Safety
  • Strong knowledge of current Legislation and Codes of Practice
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and within in team environment, self-motivated and well organised
