#Responsibilities
As a Junior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing contracts, technical specifications, and stakeholder relationships
- Coordinating with subcontractors, councils, and relevant authorities
- Tracking project costs, forecasting, and reporting on financials
- Leading project meetings and ensuring clear communication across teams
- Oversee all surveying, engineering site controls & construction requirements, including guidance, reporting, measures, coordination and monitoring
- Conduct set out surveys for earthworks, drainage structures, haul roads, and infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance to supervisors and operators
- Understand & communicate project specifications of earthworks, drainage, road construction, schedules, material tracking, placement & measures
- Coordinate with geotechnical teams to ensure material testing, suitability & identify design conflicts to be able to implement practical engineering solutions to assist in project progress
#Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years’ experience in civil construction (industrial subdivision exposure preferred)
- White Card & a current Queensland driver’s licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
- Proficient in digital tools and technology
- Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
- Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
- A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
