Hutchies is seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to become an integral part of our Townsville team. This full time, permanent position is situated in Mt Isa, where you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing our local projects.

This role reports to the Team Leader and Project Manager, working closely together to achieve our strategic goals objectives and contributing to the success of our projects.

#Responsibilities

As a Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the site workforce
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Monitor project progress and maintain schedules
  • Conduct site inspections and address any issues that arise
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials used on site
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and site diaries

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction industry
  • QBCC Site Supervisor’s License (low rise or greater)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
  • Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
