In 1924, Hutchies had a diverse and extensive portfolio of projects. Among them was the construction of Ballow Chambers, a purpose built medical building in Spring Hill, which still stands to this day and continues to be used for its original intent. Ballow Chambers, one of Brisbane's early purpose built specialist medical buildings, was part of a series of interwar medical office redevelopments on Wickham Terrace.
Hutchies takes great pride in being a part of Brisbane's rich history. As a builder, we recognise the significance of projects like Ballow Chambers, which have played a vital role in shaping the city's architectural landscape. Being involved in the construction and preservation of iconic buildings is a source of immense pride for our company.
