Following the successful construction of the Kingsborough Community Hub, Hutchies has further contributed to the Kingston Community by building Kings Quarter Stage 2. This stage included 62 freestanding houses, townhouses, and the residents’ Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse is a single level, 290m² communal area with high gabled ceilings and Scandi-inspired design elements. It features a transformable open space with a fireplace and a loosely connected kitchen for large functions.

Future phases of Kings Quarter will introduce retail and entertainment spaces, including a children’s playground, a commercial area, and a community health center, all within walking distance.

The internal and external design brief was developed in conjunction with the client, focusing on connection to Stages 1 & 2, value for money, and time. This approach influenced color choices and material selections, pushing the project team to explore innovative techniques to meet both residential and commercial standards.

The strong collaboration between TiP and Hutchies facilitated effective project budgets and timelines, enabling early subcontractor engagement and successful project delivery.
